Voices from the Middle

Call for Manuscripts

Roxanne Henkin (faculty member in the Early Childhood Program and the Literacy Program), Janis Harmon (faculty member in Literacy Education) and Elizabeth Pate (faculty member in Middle Grades and Curriculum and Instruction) are the new editorial team of Voices from the Middle (VM) for 2006-2011.

VM is the sanctioned middle level journal of the National Council of Teachers of English. This refereed journal, with a readership of 9000, is comprised of articles written by researchers, teacher educators, classroom teachers, and trade authors. VM offers middle level educators a research-based journal of best literacy practices for young adolescents. VM is published quarterly in September, December, March, and May of each year.
