Welcome

Department of Interdisciplinary Learning & Teaching!

Fostering intellectual and professional growth and integrity.

We are a dynamic faculty dedicated to teacher education. We approach the preparation of educators from an interdisciplinary stance. An interdisciplinary stance considers varied approaches to teaching and learning from within and across various disciplines. Thus, throughout your program of study you will explore how different disciplines approach inquiry, examine different and diverse ways of learning, engage in inquiry and reflection about the interdisciplinary nature of knowledge, and incorporate interdisciplinary perspectives and cultural diversity into learning and teaching. In this department, the knowledge and skills you will acquire will help you to become an effective citizen and educator in culturally diverse settings.
